On a beautiful day filled with purpose and connection, the Live Like Jack Annual Walk brought together around 50 friends, supporters, and new faces to celebrate Jack’s legacy and raise awareness for the life-changing gift of organ donation.

The energy was warm, welcoming, and deeply heartfelt, from the very first gathering to the final steps of our two-mile walk. Laughter rang out, tears were shared, and stories reminded us of the profound impact one life can have on so many.
We were honored to welcome two incredible guest speakers: Carlos Osuna and Jamie Alcroft, both organ recipients, who shared their moving stories of second chances. Their words reminded us all why we walk, why we gather, and why Jack’s legacy matters.
Another moment that touched many was when Fred introduced Sierra Leopold, a passionate young woman who came to his home personally to ask how she could volunteer. Her heartfelt commitment to the mission of Live Like Jack is exactly the kind of spirit that keeps this community growing.
After our walk, everyone enjoyed food, drinks, and meaningful fellowship. There were no strangers—only people connected by a common purpose and the desire to make a difference. It was a day of compassion, courage, and community, just the way Jack lived.

Thank you to everyone who came, supported, and walked with us. Together, we honor Jack, inspire others, and keep his legacy alive through the gift of life.
